Come join our talented Health Center nursing team! We are looking for an exceptional, experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our per diem shifts. 

 

We offer a retention bonus of $1,000 ($500 paid at 6 months’ employment and $500 paid at 1 year of employment) for per diem positions if meet availability/hours requirement. Compensation is based on years of experience, and includes shift differential for PM ($1.25/hr.) and NOC ($1.50/hr.).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to):
• Provides therapeutic, restorative, and preventive care to residents who have common, well-defined health problems
• Orders and administers medications, performs treatments, schedules tests and other diagnostic work as ordered by physicians
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents in coordination with other disciplines
• Daily oversight of licensed and unlicensed staff.


SHIFTS: All shifts available, greatest opportunities are PM's (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) and Weekends. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Current and clear CA LVN license
• Current BLS certification
• Two years of LVN experience in skilled nursing/long term care
• Charge or lead experience preferred
 
PER DIEM SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
Per diem staff have a minimum monthly/availability shift requirement, ask us for details. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
