If you are a driven and creative Sous Chef II then we want to talk to you! In this role, you will work directly under our Executive Chef and Sous Chef ensuring that all prepared foods meet quality and safety standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

 

  • Prepare, cook and present both hot and cold food items

  • Ability to work all food stations in a high volume production kitchen

  • Monitoring of temperatures of hot and cold food throughout preparation and service

  • Coordination of kitchen sanitation and inspections of all food service areas

  • Ensuring proper food handling, storage, safety and sanitation

  • Oversight of kitchen staff in absence of Executive Chef and Sous Chef

 

Rate and Shift Information: 

Wage Range: $26 - $27 per hour based on years of experience

Bonus: $1,000 retention bonus if meet minimum scheduling requirements ($500 paid at 6 months of employment and $500 paid at 1 year of employment). 

 

 

 
Minimum Requirements:

 

  • 5 + years of experience production cooking experience

  • High School diploma/GED. Candidates with culinary school will be given preference

  • Servsafe Manager certification preferred

  • Knowledge of food preparation and existing health and safety standards

  • Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and related processes

  • Familiarity with best practices in the industry

  • Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent customer service

  • Previous experience in senior living community is preferred

The Fine Print:
