The purpose of this role is to formulate and oversee the strategic direction of all business development activities for CPS; with a focus on growing the business.  The Director, National Business Development is the Chief Business Development Officer for CPS and is directly responsible for growing the CPS pipeline of new business. The position will report directly to the SVP/COO.

What You Need To Know

  • Formulates and implements CPS’ strategic plans for business development; working to achieve and surpass annual division growth, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.

  • Leads the business development initiatives for CPS, ensuring a strong pipeline for new business, the achievement of agreed strategies, key performance indicators, and annual objectives.

  • Use networking opportunities to raise the visibility and recognition of CPS as a market leader with key external contacts.


What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelors’ degree in marketing, sales, business or related field.

  • Significant leadership experience in sales/business development.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and leading business development strategies.

  • In-depth knowledge of the GPO industry.

  • Experience in the Senior Living Industry.

  • Strong relationship building skills.

 

Even Better 

  • Past proficiency with CRM systems.
