The purpose of this role will be to provide functional/technical competency to core team members in essential business systems. This person will work closely with developers and support analysts at all levels configuring, implementing, installing, testing, and supporting Oracle HR/Payroll systems.

What You Need To Know
  • Analyze business processes related to information flow within Oracle HR/Payroll systems and work with team members on process re-engineering.
  • Within the Oracle HR/Payroll system, create custom enhancements based on function specification definition and technical specification review.
  • Manage data migrations for new customers.
  • Write and support fast formulas for HR/Payroll elements and processes.
  • Technically assist with quarter and year end processing.

  • Preparation and maintenance of application documentation - business process flows; business process procedures; application instructions.

  • Partner with Oracle to troubleshoot complex issues and identify a solution, as applicable.

  • Review new patching and features of HR/Payroll Modules.

  • Assist with special projects as needed and as time permits.

What We Are Looking For
  • BS or BA degree in Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience working as a functional analyst
  • Experience with Oracle based products or an HRIS is required.
Even Better
  • Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite Applications R12
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Knowledge of Payroll processing and taxes
  • Knowledge and experience in Oracle Service Request process
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
  • Basic level of knowledge and experience in Oracle database tables
  • Strong problem solving ability with focus on quality and urgency
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; organization and team skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment in making routine decisions
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
