The IT Manager of Marketing and Sales Systems directs the development, implementation, configuration, operation, evolution, support and training of Marketing and Sales systems as well as other related systems.  Functions as the intermediary between LCS IT, Sales and Marketing, other internal clients, and outside software vendors.

What You Need To Know

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising a team of professionals as it relates to providing functional/technical competency to core team members in essential business systems.
  • Works closely with clients to develop and implement strategic technical projects in support of their business goals. Demonstrates sound understanding of client needs. Communicates client expectations clearly to team and communicates progress to key stakeholders and management.

  • Serves as a thought leader through proactive partnership with internal business stakeholders to anticipate future needs and offer best-in-class system solutions.

  • Provides direction and support in regards to gathering client requirements, producing specifications, developing/configuring, implementing, testing, and on-going support of applications.

  • Oversees direction of new technology, design and modeling for the team. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and solutions that are cost effective and meet business requirements. 

  • Manages relationships and partners with external vendors to create implementation plans, allocate resources, identify and trouble-shoot issues, and budget based on client projects.

  • Develops budgets for individual projects and for the annual budgeting process.

  • Oversees the preparation and updating of all training and user materials including training guides, user manuals, system documentation and the maintenance of training databases.

  • Applies analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies to ensure current applications offer best-in-practice solutions.

  • Performs supervisory functions with team (reviews, coaching, mentoring, etc.), provides team with developmental and education opportunities, and leads team by example.


What We Are Looking For

  • 4 year degree and minimum 7 years related experience in Information Systems or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience leading technology teams and successfully executing projects through effective communication and resource coordination

  • Experience and knowledge of sales and marketing concepts and strategies.

  • Proven results in leading software vendors and implementation partners to deliver high value solutions

  • Demonstrated record of developing outstanding business partner relationships and aligned technology strategies.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple large scale projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Strong coach that can lead and mentor a team to deliver against timelines

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated skills in translating business needs into technical requirements and design.

  • Ability to analyze multiple solutions and weigh costs and benefits to choose an appropriate course of action.
