The IT Security Architect is responsible for designing, building and implementing IT security systems for Life Center Services. Thorough understanding of complex IT systems, authentication protocols and security products.

What You Need To Know

  • Recommends modifications to application development, database design, networking, or infrastructure architecture with the goal of complying with internal information security policies and standards

  • Monitors emerging products, technologies, or best practices that will improve security for the organization and its stakeholders

  • Makes recommendations to overall organizational security strategy with senior IT leadership

  • Assists senior leadership in the development of security policies, standards, and strategies

  • Performs or participates in security audits, identifies security gaps, and develops and implements risk mitigation solutions

  • Communicate complex problems to a large and diverse workforce audience

  • Participate in the change management process as it relates to the evolution of IT Security processes and practices

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technology-related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent years of relevant work experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in information security

  • Experience working within the healthcare and/or senior living industries a plus

 

Even Better 

  • A strong working knowledge of IT security risks, regulations and standards

  • Extensive knowledge of complex networking

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Ability to follow through on projects or to initiate follow-through as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
