What We Are Looking For

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Must have a valid nursing license, compact license preferred.  Bachelor’s Degree - RN, BSN, RN (2 or 3 year degree) with Business Administration, Management or related field.


Minimum 5 years’ long term care nursing background.


Even Better 

  • Must have ability to respond quickly to internal challenges and devote time as needed when there is a community crisis or to assist with start up on new communities.

  • Be able to tie all clinical support to billing.

  • Thorough understanding of all clinical State compliance areas as well as financial impact: nursing, therapy, pharmacy, social services, activities, administration and accounting.

  • Solid knowledge of OIG Guidelines and working knowledge of HIPAA.

  • Ability to develop training programs for Administrators and DOHSs.

  • Ability to develop benchmarks and trending data for an individual community and LCS corporately using QAPI reports along with other data collected from .communities

  • Ability to write clear quantifiable reports that will serve as clear action plans for communities.

  • Must be highly articulate and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay focused on prioritizing work.

  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.  Requires the use of good judgment and common sense in the performance of duties.  Must be able to evaluate and respond to the needs of staff, clients, and others 



Normal visual/hearing ability to comprehend written and oral communication.  Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity which may include heavy to moderate lifting up to 50 pounds and extensive bending, squatting and standing.  May need to stand for 3-5 hours at a time.  Bending over a wheelchair to administer treatments.  Walking the length of the community to assess or respond to clients.    May require assistance to lift over 50 pounds; ability to push up to 250 pounds independently.  Proper body mechanics are consistently utilized.  Must be free of communicable disease; may be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV.  May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
