The Regional Marketing and Sales Director will coordinate the planning and implementation of the sales efforts at assigned communities.  The RMSD will work in a team environment with the Director of Marketing and Sales and Sr. VP Director of Marketing and Sales as well as all other staff in the Marketing and Sales Division.  Other important relationships will include the advertising agency, LCS Market Research staff, Directors of Operations Management and community Executive Directors.

 

Key areas will include facilitation of all associated sales activity, marketing plan development, utilizing the Leads Management System and other data management systems to analyze key sales and marketing data, conduct hiring searches and participate in training staff at LCS managed-communities. This person will be capable of direct participation in the sales presentation to help facilitate the sales process when needed.

 

The Regional Marketing and Sales Director will report to the VP Senior Director of Marketing and Sales and will support our West region.

What You Need To Know
  • Work with team to develop sales and marketing goals

  • Manage the marketing and sales budget for assigned communities

  • Motivate the sales staff

  • Prepare and present report on sales and occupancy progress

  • Monitor sales and marketing plan execution

  • Active involvement in community outreach activities and events

  • Oversee the community advertising and promotional activities

  • Communicate with primary advertising agency on ongoing campaigns for assigned communities

  • Active participation in sales presentations to assist staff and community performance in direct sales whenever needed

  • Work cooperatively with operations staff to develop, implement and execute all areas pertaining to marketing and sales

  • Ensure the consistent and accurate use of the Leads Management System at assigned communities

  • Use data to spot trends in direct sales activity and inquiry activity

  • Utilize LCS sales training programs and ongoing on-site coaching with sales staff

  • Conduct training as necessary to ensure compliance with expectations for sales and marketing

  • Participate as a trainer, as assigned, for LCS sales training sessions


What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred  
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the senior living industry in marketing & sales, supporting 3 or more communities

Even Better

  • Direct sales experience and the willingness to engage in the sales presentations when on-site.

  • Skilled in public speaking.

  • Leadership skills to influence outcomes at both corporate and community levels.

  • Strong employee management, communication, coaching and development skills

  • Capable of functioning on all appropriate computer software (Word, Excel and data systems) in order to be able to complete all aspects of the job responsibilities
