Under the leadership of the Benefits Manager, the Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for enterprise-wide administration of LCS and LCS Community Employment's benefit plans, including health and welfare plans, FMLA/ADAA programs and any other employee benefit plans offered.  The role of the Senior Benefits Analyst is to ensure through the completion of their assigned responsibilities that all benefit plans/programs are administered in an effective, consistent and compliant manner.

What You Need To Know
  • Monitor key processes, identify risks/issues, and coordinate with the applicable resources to resolve.

  • Assist Benefits Manager with oversight and management of program compliance with regulations, plan documents, government reporting and other requirements.

  • Oversees/directs administration of COBRA, FMLA, and ADAA processes to ensure effectiveness, understanding, and compliance.

  • Manage the annual benefit open enrollment processes including development and maintenance of project plans, communication, and system implementations (for both LCS Assurance and LCS Marketplace).

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and respond to complex questions and issues from managers, team members, and employees while escalating cases as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across all programs.

  • In alignment with the direction of the Benefits Manager, prepare and review benefit communications and manage enterprise-wide benefit communication and education plan.

  • Serve as a system expert to troubleshoot, solve, and test technical issues as they arise.

  • Ad hoc benefits analysis as requested

  • Oversee new hire on-boarding process to ensure effective delivery of information and positive employee experience.

  • Researches current benefit trends and regulatory/legislated requirements and recommends programs/changes to the Benefit Manger.




What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, which include analysis, administration, and compliance of employee, benefit programs.

 

Even Better 

  • Extensive and demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of applicable regulations related to benefit plans including ERISA and IRS regulations.

  • Excellent analytical skills & collaborative problem solving required.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and benefit administration systems.  Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to use discretion in working with sensitive and/or confidential information.

  • Excellent and effective organizational and project management skills and attention to detail including the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively to persons at all levels in the organization.

  • Comfortable working independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and with changing priorities and with a customer-focused perspective.
